Description

  • Manage a named account territory across the Midwest U.S. and sell to both end users and channel partners.
  • Exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue quota goals.
  • Develop business plans aligned to geographic and business needs.
  • Follow up on leads and keep internal systems updated.
  • Lead technical resources to demonstrate ControlUp’s value and advantages to customers.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, including qualifying, presentations, demonstrations, RFP responses, negotiations, and closing.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior decision makers and key buyers within accounts and partners.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the territory, including customers, prospects, partners, influencers, and competitors.
  • Follow up post-sale to ensure ongoing account coverage and identify new sales opportunities.
  • Create and manage conversations with business and technical stakeholders at multiple levels.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or global equivalent in an IT, business, or sales-related field.
  • 7+ years of business-to-business enterprise sales experience.
  • Proven results in a quota-oriented sales environment.
  • Strong understanding of technology and technological innovations.
  • Proven negotiation skills and ability to persuade and influence decision makers and executives.
  • Experience presenting to executive management, including C-level audiences.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Professionalism, personal integrity, and a high internal commitment to achieving success.
  • Ability to build and maintain a broad professional network over a long period of time.
  • Business travel is expected, and candidates must reside in IL, IA, IN, AR, KS, or OK.
