Description

  • Own a defined portfolio of strategic hedge fund and institutional accounts with full renewal and expansion quota responsibility.
  • Drive usage, adoption, and multi-team penetration across existing subscriptions.
  • Identify and close upsell and cross-sell opportunities through ongoing engagement with senior stakeholders.
  • Lead contract renewals and pricing negotiations while handling objections and competitive pressure.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline, renewal, and forecast tracking in Salesforce on a disciplined cadence.
  • Conduct regular client meetings and executive updates, including on-site or off-site meetings when needed.
  • Bring in internal leadership and product experts to support client conversations and account strategy.
  • Relay client feedback to inform product, pricing, and commercial strategy.
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and long-term client satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 10+ years of prospective sales experience with a successful track record of exceeding sales targets.
  • 3+ years focused on alternative data solutions for Financial Services clients (required).
  • Experience managing the full sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce and Excel.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of alternative data solutions.
  • Existing network and strong reputation within the US investment community.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
  • High ethical standards and integrity in client and colleague interactions.
  • Experience in SaaS and data-driven decision-making is preferred.
  • Based in the Tri-State area or able to travel regularly to New York; frequent visits to the Grand Central office are expected.
