Description

  • Identify and source prospective clients through outbound prospecting and market research.
  • Build, manage, and prioritize a sales pipeline while maintaining accurate CRM records.
  • Establish relationships with key decision-makers and deliver presentations that demonstrate value.
  • Develop customized proposals in collaboration with internal teams.
  • Lead negotiations, coordinate contract finalization with legal teams, and close deals.
  • Track industry trends, competitor activity, and market intelligence to refine sales strategy.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product development, and client success teams to support acquisition and retention efforts.
  • Ensure a smooth post-sale handoff to the client success team and support a positive onboarding experience.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of client interactions and provide sales activity and forecast reports.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of prospective sales experience with a track record of securing new logos and exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience managing the full sales cycle from lead generation through deal closure.
  • Experience with Salesforce and Excel.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of alternative data solutions targeting B2C companies, including industry trends, competitors, and market dynamics.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for building trust and credibility with corporate clients and decision-makers.
  • Effective negotiation skills and ability to handle objections and conflicts professionally.
  • Strong problem-solving ability and creativity in tailoring solutions to client needs.
  • Knowledge of SaaS and data-driven decision making, with a self-driven and ethical approach.
  • Must reside in one of the following states or Washington, DC: CA, CO, CT, FL, ID, IL, LA, MA, MD, NC, NJ, NY, PA, RI, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, WI.
