Description

  • Support the sales team with detailed, accurate sales engineering assistance.
  • Research, analyze, and document customer and product findings.
  • Present cost-benefit analyses and solution recommendations to prospective customers.
  • Deliver technical training to clients and share customer feedback with product teams.
  • Represent both the technical and functional value of the company’s products and services.
  • Create and deliver technical product demonstrations, presentations, and proof-of-concepts.
  • Assess customer requirements and recommend solutions that maximize value.
  • Work with customers in a consultative manner for both business and technical audiences.
  • Prepare and contribute to technical RFPs and RFQs.
  • Serve as a cross-functional point of contact for product knowledge, coaching, and support.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge through ongoing training and education.
  • Coach or review the work of other team members when needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent business experience.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with a business process or management application.
  • Experience with a CPQ tool.
  • Experience with a CRM such as Salesforce.
  • Preferred: consultant experience.
  • Preferred: experience in channels such as MDP, VAR, OE, TSP, Internal IT, and/or MSP+.
  • Ability to manage projects and processes independently with limited supervision.
  • Proven sales track record of success.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt to new technology and processes based on partner requirements.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
