Description

  • Lead, manage, train, and develop a regional team of Patient Access Liaisons.
  • Serve as a hands-on player/coach to resolve complex access and reimbursement issues in real time.
  • Drive consistent, high-quality, compliant, non-promotional execution across the region.
  • Partner with treatment sites to operationalize access through education on coverage, coding, billing, and REMS requirements.
  • Translate complex access and operational requirements into practical site workflows.
  • Anticipate and address barriers affecting site readiness and patient progression.
  • Support patient onboarding and early treatment delivery within defined role boundaries.
  • Serve as a regional subject matter expert on reimbursement and access pathways.
  • Collaborate with Patient Engagement, Market Access, Commercial, Medical Affairs, Legal, and Compliance to ensure aligned execution.
  • Bring field insights back to the organization to improve tools, training, and the patient/provider experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Advanced degree such as MBA, MPH, or PharmD preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in field reimbursement or patient access within biopharmaceutical or life sciences industries.
  • Experience leading field access teams is required.
  • Deep understanding of medical and pharmacy benefit reimbursement.
  • Experience with buy-and-bill and site-of-care dynamics.
  • Knowledge of prior authorization and payer processes.
  • Experience supporting complex therapies such as specialty, infusion, REMS products, or site-administered treatments.
  • Experience in mental health or neuroscience is highly preferred.
  • Strong empathy, communication, cross-functional leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to navigate sensitive topics with rigor and compassion.
  • Field-based role with ability to travel approximately 70% within the region.
  • Must have employment rights in the country of application; visa sponsorship is not available.

  • Base salary of $200,000 to $250,000 USD annually for NYC.
