Description

  • Assist in building, scheduling, QAing, and launching email and SMS campaigns using Twilio and SendGrid.
  • Help set up and QA automated lifecycle flows such as onboarding, re-engagement, and retention campaigns.
  • Support audience list management, segmentation criteria, suppression files, and workflow documentation.
  • Prepare and format email templates in collaboration with the design team.
  • Coordinate campaign timelines, internal deliverables, and marketing calendars to keep launches on schedule.
  • Maintain organized libraries of marketing assets, templates, and campaign documentation.
  • Support A/B test setup and help document results for subject lines, CTAs, and content variants.
  • Assist with campaign testing, tracking, and reporting across email and SMS channels.
  • Compile performance reports on open rates, click-through rates, conversions, engagement, and unsubscribes.
  • Help ensure campaigns comply with CASL, CAN-SPAM, and GDPR and support list hygiene tasks such as bounces, opt-outs, and suppression lists.

Requirements

  • Up to 1–2 years of experience in email marketing, digital marketing, or a related role; internships and relevant coursework count.
  • Basic familiarity with email marketing concepts such as deliverability, segmentation, open rates, and click-through rates.
  • Comfort working with data, dashboards, and spreadsheets.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Great written communication skills in English.
  • Fluency in English, written and spoken.
  • Eagerness to learn marketing platforms and grow into a technical marketing role.
  • Spanish is a strong asset.
  • Hands-on experience with an email platform such as Mailchimp, HubSpot, Klaviyo, SendGrid, or similar is preferred.
  • Exposure to SMS marketing, A/B testing, basic HTML, or email templating is preferred.
  • Studies or coursework in marketing, communications, business, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience in digital, tech, or startup environments is preferred.
