Description

  • Schedule appointments with existing customers to identify prospects, present current product offers, and send timely follow-up emails.
  • Plan and deliver daily sales presentations in person or virtually.
  • Provide professional product and service demonstrations onsite or online.
  • Liaise with customers on pricing, service updates, and new product releases.
  • Identify and qualify prospects through research, networking, and cold calling.
  • Make outbound prospect calls daily and follow up on all inbound and marketing-sourced leads within 24 hours in CRM.
  • Maintain ongoing follow-up with prospects and communicate product changes, modifications, and enhancements.
  • Attend departmental and training meetings to stay current on products, procedures, services, and tools.
  • Use marketing data and sales management tools to improve sales effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Prepare sales and marketing reports, maintain accurate expense accounts, and update customer account records.
  • Provide product quotes, aggressively pursue business opportunities, and participate in conferences and trade shows when applicable.
  • Hold regular one-on-one meetings with the direct manager and provide periodic pipeline updates to senior management.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a B.A./B.S. degree.
  • 5+ years of successful experience in sales and account management.
  • Experience in insurance and/or financial services sales is preferred.
  • Experience selling and negotiating at the C-level.
  • Proven ability to break into new accounts and achieve high growth against ambitious targets.
  • Strong managerial, communication, analytical, organizational, project management, and planning skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present to large audiences.
  • Solid understanding of competitive offerings, software, technologies, and their place in the market.
  • Strong technical or software aptitude.
