Description

  • Retain and expand existing client relationships across the disability account base.
  • Identify and pursue new revenue opportunities within existing and new accounts.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans for Dane Street clients.
  • Build strong relationships with managers, requesters, and senior leadership across accounts.
  • Collaborate with operations, QA, and business analyst teams to support client satisfaction and resolve problems.
  • Grow revenue and referral volume within top target accounts.
  • Proactively identify risks and address client concerns.
  • Conduct outreach to prospective clients through networking, referrals, and targeted prospecting.
  • Provide weekly reporting on account health, growth opportunities, and sales activities.
  • Support special projects and cross-functional initiatives as needed.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 1–3 years of experience in account management, business development, or client-facing sales roles.
  • Disability claims experience in an insurance setting preferred.
  • In-depth understanding of the disability marketplace with LTD claims or clinical experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience with outbound outreach, prospecting, or revenue generation strongly preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation and sense of urgency.
  • Ability to initiate outreach and develop new client relationships confidently.
  • Strong time management, attention to detail, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Experience navigating web-based systems, including Google Docs, and strong computer literacy and typing skills.
  • Ability to manage deadlines, think critically, and work effectively in a long periods-of-sitting, computer-based role.
  • Ability to supply and maintain uninterrupted internet service for a work-from-home position.
