Description

  • Own a defined book of business and manage new client acquisition and long-term account relationships for insurance licensing and continuing education sales.
  • Drive new business development through strategic prospecting, cold-calling, research, and networking.
  • Schedule and conduct sales meetings, present solutions virtually and in person, provide product demonstrations, and prepare product quotes.
  • Follow up promptly on inbound and marketing-sourced leads, including responding within 24 hours, and maintain ongoing client communication.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership, client services, and operations to support account planning, retention, and growth strategies.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and support cross-selling opportunities across the broader Colibri portfolio.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences as needed to support client-facing opportunities.
  • Travel as business needs require.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of B2B sales, account management, or business development experience in strategic or key account roles.
  • Proven track record of managing strategic accounts, driving revenue growth, and exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience in insurance, financial services, professional services, or related industries.
  • Strong understanding of the continuing education, professional development, or compliance training landscape.
  • Ability to navigate complex organizational structures and build relationships across all levels.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to present to large audiences and translate business needs into solutions.
  • Self-motivated with a strong hunter mindset and ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Willingness to travel as business needs require.
