Description

  • Lead Software Engineering within CoLab’s Product Development organization.
  • Build and grow a high-performing engineering organization across Product Development, Ops, and Technical Support.
  • Guide teams to improve software quality, development speed, and delivery confidence.
  • Partner with Product on roadmap planning, resource allocation, and feasibility tradeoffs.
  • Ensure compliance with standards such as SOC 2 and ISO through a mature SDLC.
  • Set and manage operating metrics such as uptime, velocity, quality, and cost.
  • Help scale the team with strong talent and create opportunities for career growth.
  • Collaborate with GTM and Customer Success to support technical enablement and customer outcomes.
  • Work directly with customers on strategic deals and technical challenges.
  • Join the Senior Leadership Team and contribute to company-wide strategy.

Requirements

  • Significant experience as a software developer, including experience with large-scale SaaS systems.
  • Experience with modern cloud technologies, including React, Python, GraphQL, Postgres, and AWS.
  • Strong knowledge of AI solutions for software development and experience deploying AI coding solutions at scale.
  • 5+ years of engineering leadership experience, including managing managers.
  • Proven ability to scale teams and processes during periods of rapid growth.
  • Experience building secure, compliant software in a regulated environment.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Experience supporting customer conversations and technical sales.
  • Experience scaling at least one startup through Series A to C growth or similar, preferably more than once.
  • Experience growing from individual contributor to leadership is strongly preferred.
