Description

  • Build and execute the UAE market-entry plan aligned to Coins.ph’s corridor strategy for outbound remittances from Dubai into priority markets.
  • Develop early partnerships that accelerate adoption and reduce friction, including the use of stablecoin rails where appropriate.
  • Translate market-entry strategy into measurable traction through transaction and volume growth within the first 12–18 months.
  • Provide executive oversight of the compliance agenda led by the CCO to ensure alignment with VARA expectations and scalable controls.
  • Maintain senior-level engagement with VARA as needed and support regulator-facing interactions with sound judgment and credibility.
  • Act as the bridge between Dubai market realities and Coins.ph leadership to keep execution aligned with international expansion priorities.
  • Work cross-functionally with relevant teams to support implementations that improve customer experience.
  • Operate as a hands-on builder who can create momentum quickly in an ambiguous, from-scratch market environment.

Requirements

  • Must be based in the UAE.
  • Senior fintech, payments, or remittances leader already in the UAE.
  • Demonstrated ability to build a new market presence and convert partnerships into volume.
  • Strong understanding of crypto and stablecoins.
  • Practical familiarity with how stablecoin rails support remittance economics.
  • Prior experience engaging UAE regulators, with VARA experience ideal.
  • Ability to represent the firm credibly with senior regulators and stakeholders.
  • Builder mentality with comfort working in ambiguity and moving fast while maintaining control integrity.
