Description

  • Design, develop, customize, and maintain Salesforce applications across orgs using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, and related Salesforce technologies.
  • Own end-to-end delivery of Salesforce features and enhancements from technical design and estimation through implementation, testing, deployment, and post-launch support.
  • Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce and internal or external systems using REST APIs, Platform Events, middleware, automation platforms, and related tooling.
  • Collaborate with product managers, admins, architects, and business stakeholders to refine requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Provide demos of development work to stakeholders and incorporate feedback into designs and implementations.
  • Design and implement scalable data models, automation, and configuration for complex Salesforce workflows.
  • Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and design reviews to uphold code quality, security, and reliability.
  • Support production operations through on-call rotations, incident triage, root cause analysis, and hardening of critical platform services.
  • Document technical designs, engineering patterns, and runbooks for long-term maintainability and auditability.
  • Mentor junior and contractor developers on Salesforce engineering best practices.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce Developer or equivalent Salesforce-focused engineering role.
  • Deep understanding of core Salesforce platform concepts including Apex, LWC, Flows, security/sharing, packaging, and release management.
  • Experience designing and implementing complex Salesforce solutions in at least one of Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, or Experience Cloud.
  • Strong experience building and operating Salesforce integrations with REST APIs, Platform Events, middleware/automation platforms, ETL tooling, and contracting tools such as Ironclad.
  • Solid software engineering fundamentals, including testable architectures, separation of concerns, and performance/scalability considerations.
  • Experience working in a product-aligned engineering team and translating business requirements into technical designs and implementation plans.
  • Familiarity with modern engineering practices including Git/GitHub, code review, CI/CD pipelines, CLIs, and multi-sandbox environment management.
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills in complex, distributed environments.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working effectively with a geographically distributed team, including alignment on EST or similar core hours when needed.
  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud is preferred.
  • Experience supporting multiple Salesforce product teams or orgs on a platform or enablement team is preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with multi-org Salesforce environments is preferred.
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with internal platforms or AI/automation tooling such as Workato, MCP-based tools, or internal LLM assistants is preferred.
  • Background in regulated or highly audited environments such as financial services, fintech, or compliance-heavy domains is preferred.
  • Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I/II, Salesforce Administrator, or Service Cloud Consultant are preferred.

  • Target annual base salary of $135,320 to $159,200 USD, excluding equity and bonus.
