Description

  • Plan, design, and execute manual and automated testing for financial workflows and system integrations.
  • Build and maintain automated test suites using Python, pytest, Robot Framework, and Playwright.
  • Validate REST APIs, file-based integrations, data pipelines, and financial data accuracy.
  • Write SQL queries for data validation, reconciliation, and defect investigation.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools.
  • Execute performance and load testing to assess scalability and transaction processing.
  • Test responsive web applications across browsers, devices, and screen sizes.
  • Use AI-powered tools and develop AI-assisted testing solutions to improve testing efficiency.
  • Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business stakeholders in Agile ceremonies and delivery activities.
  • Track defects, validate fixes, and provide quality metrics and testing insights.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in manual and automated Quality Assurance.
  • Hands-on experience with Python automation frameworks, including pytest and/or Robot Framework.
  • Strong Playwright experience using TypeScript or JavaScript.
  • Advanced SQL skills, including joins, subqueries, aggregations, and data validation.
  • Experience testing REST APIs with Postman or code-based frameworks.
  • Experience implementing automated tests in CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with performance and load testing tools such as JMeter, k6, or Locust.
  • Experience testing responsive applications across multiple browsers and devices.
  • Practical experience using AI-powered tools in software testing workflows.
  • 3+ years of experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and availability during US Eastern Time business hours.
  • Preferred: experience in lending, payments, FinTech, or financial services.
  • Preferred: experience building AI agents or tools with LLM APIs, and familiarity with Jira and Confluence.
  • Preferred: experience testing CSV, fixed-width, and SFTP integrations and financial reconciliation processes.
