Description

  • Manage payment provider onboarding from technical discovery, credentials, sandbox access, and testing through production launch and stabilization.
  • Define integration acceptance standards and make go/no-go decisions before launches.
  • Review provider API documentation and create implementation-ready specifications covering edge cases, failure paths, and confirmation behavior.
  • Own first-line response to failed, stuck, unconfirmed, and anomalous payment transactions.
  • Investigate incidents using logs, API responses, and transaction data, distinguishing provider-side from platform-side issues.
  • Perform manual checkout testing across mobile and desktop and verify callbacks, redirects, asynchronous statuses, and failure scenarios.
  • Use Postman or equivalent tools to validate API behavior and execute SQL queries to investigate transaction data.
  • Maintain the payment method and provider catalogue, including capabilities, integration types, testing status, and known failure modes.
  • Produce 90-day analyses of deposit attempts by outcome, including provider declines, user abandonment, redirect abandonment, and missing confirmations.
  • Communicate technical findings and incident decisions to providers, engineers, and internal stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in payments, PSP integrations, or fintech platforms.
  • Working knowledge of APIs, webhooks, asynchronous payment statuses, callback mechanics, confirmation models, redirect flows, and common payment failures.
  • Ability to review provider API specifications and identify missing or ambiguous information.
  • Experience testing APIs with Postman or equivalent tools.
  • Experience conducting structured checkout testing across mobile and desktop.
  • Experience investigating live payment incidents using logs and API responses.
  • Ability to distinguish provider-side issues from platform-side problems.
  • Experience translating incomplete technical documentation into clear engineering specifications.
  • Strong communication skills and composure during incidents.
  • Basic knowledge of using AI tools in daily work.
  • Working proficiency in English and Russian.
