Description

  • Develop high-performance cloud and container technologies, primarily using Python.
  • Deliver high-quality software solutions and code.
  • Create unit tests and improve the software development lifecycle.
  • Investigate and resolve issues identified during testing and customer integration.
  • Participate in all stages of an agile software development process.
  • Collaborate on containerization, virtualization, fault-tolerant, and carrier-grade development.
  • Contribute to a highly available orchestration platform supporting multi-vendor deployments.

Requirements

  • Solid backend development experience, preferably with Python.
  • Working knowledge of Linux concepts, command-line operations, file management, archives, system security, permissions, and basic scripting.
  • Strong knowledge of computer networking and transport-layer protocols such as TCP and UDP.
  • Understanding of cloud computing concepts.
  • Experience troubleshooting highly distributed orchestration platforms.
  • Experience collaborating with remote teams across time zones and with senior technical leaders.
  • Experience with Git, Jira, GitLab, and code review tools.
  • Experience with container technologies, including Docker or Linux Containers.
  • Experience designing, configuring, controlling, and monitoring Kubernetes clusters.
  • Experience with Helm; Kubernetes application development, PostgreSQL, and RabbitMQ are preferred.
