Description

  • Design, build, and operate distributed systems for high-volume telemetry ingestion, processing, and storage.
  • Own the reliability, performance, capacity, and cost efficiency of telemetry pipelines and storage systems.
  • Participate in on-call rotations, resolve production incidents, and implement root-cause fixes.
  • Develop software and automation that reduces repetitive operational work.
  • Identify architectural bottlenecks and help define the roadmap for future scale.
  • Collaborate with product, infrastructure, and service teams across ClickHouse.
  • Participate in architecture and design reviews and improve engineering quality.
  • Debug unfamiliar distributed systems and turn recurring operational issues into durable solutions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience building and operating production systems at scale.
  • Strong proficiency in Go.
  • Experience building and operating services on Kubernetes.
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code and GitOps tools such as Terraform, Helm, and Argo CD.
  • Production experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Hands-on experience with OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, or comparable telemetry technologies.
  • Experience with ClickHouse is preferred.
  • Experience with high-throughput ingestion, streaming, queueing, or storage systems is preferred.
  • Experience building multi-tenant cloud services or optimizing infrastructure for performance and cost is preferred.
  • Experience with TypeScript is preferred.
