Description

  • Own new-partner acquisition for the higher education channel, from prospecting through signed agreement.
  • Generate and manage your own pipeline through outbound outreach and relationship-building.
  • Run full sales cycles end to end, including discovery, program demonstrations, proposals, negotiation, and close.
  • Engage computer science faculty, department chairs, and academic decision-makers to build the case for partnership.
  • Translate CodePath’s curriculum, technical rigor, and student outcomes for a CS faculty audience.
  • Navigate academic procurement and budget cycles to move deals forward on a predictable timeline.
  • Partner with the Head of Higher Education on territory strategy, target account selection, and deal strategy.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline, activity, and forecast data in HubSpot.
  • Represent CodePath at higher education and computer science education conferences and events.
  • Work toward quarterly new-partner and enrollment targets.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of full-cycle sales experience with a track record of closing net-new accounts.
  • Zero-to-one experience selling a new offering or building a partnership motion from scratch.
  • Ability to speak credibly about computer science curriculum and technical concepts to earn faculty trust.
  • Strong CRM discipline with HubSpot or an equivalent CRM, including accurate forecasting.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with faculty, administrators, and executive stakeholders.
  • Hunter mentality with a proactive approach to generating your own pipeline and closing new business.
  • Commitment to CodePath’s mission of advancing economic mobility through education.
  • Higher education sales experience, with an understanding of how college and university decisions are made, preferred.
  • Experience selling to or working directly with faculty, ideally in Computer Science or STEM departments, preferred.
  • Experience building a sales motion at an early-stage or high-growth organization, preferred.

Benefits

  • Remote position based in the United States.
  • $110,000–$150,000 base salary.
  • Variable compensation tied to new-partner targets.
  • On-target earnings of approximately $200,000.
  • Quarterly performance bonus tied to new-partner and enrollment targets.
  • Standardized salary structure based on role level and relevant experience.
