Description

  • Lead large-scale data science projects from ideation through enterprise impact.
  • Develop creative and practical solutions to complex business problems using a broad problem-solving toolkit.
  • Evaluate trade-offs between off-the-shelf and customized approaches to optimize speed and effectiveness.
  • Build scalable, bug-free, well-tested solutions that reduce complexity.
  • Translate business challenges into data science work that delivers measurable results.
  • Engage stakeholders across levels to align data science efforts with business needs.
  • Identify and mitigate risks early to prevent downstream roadblocks.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and thought partner to keep projects on time and aligned with business objectives.
  • Mentor and collaborate with peers to strengthen team problem-solving and technical execution.
  • Forecast project impact and lead data-driven product performance assessment.
  • Proactively identify and implement strategic improvements to drive better team outcomes.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in a quantitative field plus 3-4 years of experience, or Ph.D. plus 2+ years of experience.
  • Strong foundation in probability, statistics, and machine learning.
  • Experience with SQL and Python, plus relevant ML/statistical packages.
  • Successful use of data science to drive enterprise value in a business function.
  • Experience leading large-scale initiatives from concept to measurable business impact.
  • Ability to improve team output through mentorship, code review, and leadership by example.
  • Clear communication of how your work supports business goals and top-level company objectives.
  • Experience with education, work experience, and certifications considered in compensation decisions.
  • E-Verify participation and willingness to be considered under applicable fair chance hiring requirements.
