Description

  • Design and train machine learning models for anomaly detection, bot mitigation, and zero-day intrusion detection.
  • Deploy and optimize inference models at the edge to process massive volumes of HTTP traffic with ultra-low latency.
  • Work with offensive security engineers to analyze attack vectors, simulate threats, and build high-quality training datasets.
  • Create data pipelines that continuously ingest traffic logs and support monitoring, drift detection, and automated retraining.
  • Translate raw network traffic and attack data into proactive defense mechanisms.
  • Collaborate with security engineers and red teamers to improve detection coverage against real attack classes.
  • Integrate production-ready services with the broader security stack.
  • Operate autonomously within a fully remote, distributed team while collaborating closely with stakeholders.
  • Support defense automation using latest threat intelligence and model performance feedback.

Requirements

  • Fluency in Python and SQL.
  • Deep proficiency with ML libraries such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Scikit-Learn.
  • Experience deploying machine learning models into production in high-throughput, low-latency environments.
  • Strong understanding of web security, HTTP protocols, and common attack vectors such as OWASP Top 10, L7 DDoS, and credential stuffing.
  • Familiarity with edge computing platforms such as Cloudflare, Fastly, or AWS Edge, and CDN/WAF concepts.
  • Solid software engineering fundamentals and ability to write production-ready services in Python, Rust, TypeScript, or similar languages.
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure such as GCP or AWS and managing large-scale datasets.
  • Experience with LLMs and Agents.
  • Ability to work autonomously in a fully remote and distributed team.
  • Strong communication skills in both English and Portuguese.
  • Direct experience with the Cloudflare ecosystem, including Cloudflare Workers, Cloudflare WAF, or Cloudflare Workers AI, is a plus.
  • Background in cybersecurity such as IDS/IPS, threat hunting, or malware analysis is a plus.
  • Familiarity with payment industry security such as PCI DSS, card tokenization, or acquiring flows is a plus.
  • Contributions to open-source security or ML tools, published security research, or CTF participation are a plus.
