Description

  • Proactively manage and grow a portfolio of assigned enterprise-level clients.
  • Close new and expansion business on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis while meeting or exceeding quota.
  • Build and maintain customer relationships, owning deadlines and deliverables to support deal execution.
  • Develop relationships with C-level leaders and decision makers to align Cloudflare solutions with customer transformation goals.
  • Generate and expand pipeline through direct and indirect outreach and deep understanding of customer objectives.
  • Maintain accurate forecasts and report opportunity status in weekly sales meetings using the MEDDPIC framework in SFDC.
  • Manage the purchasing process, document progress to close, and establish jointly owned timelines with customers.
  • Prepare and deliver executive-level presentations, proposals, and commercial terms.
  • Leverage Cloudflare executive resources and briefing centers to build sponsorship and account support.
  • Work with channel partners and internal stakeholders to create joint value propositions and drive customer outcomes.

Requirements

  • Must reside in the Nashville, TN area for this remote role.
  • 6+ years of experience with cloud networking and security technology, with industry awareness.
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting and exceeding quota.
  • Strong sales acumen across discovery, positioning, competitive selling, negotiation, closing, and expansion.
  • Ability to lead a multidisciplinary team over a long-term account horizon.
  • Ability to identify key stakeholders and translate business issues into solutions.
  • Comfortable selling new business and expanding existing business, with strong closing skills.
  • Ability to build meaningful relationships quickly and present with confidence.
  • Experience with forecasting, pipeline management, account engagement, and SFDC discipline is preferred.
  • Experience working in an entrepreneurial, high-initiative environment is preferred.
