Description

  • Own and deliver individual and team revenue targets across the full sales cycle, from prospecting through closing.
  • Partner with the CEO to define and execute a focused U.S. growth strategy with clear weekly execution plans.
  • Build, coach, and lead a high-performing sales team with clear expectations for activity, pipeline health, and conversion.
  • Personally drive pipeline through direct selling, strategic outbound, and local market engagement in priority districts and states.
  • Establish forecasting, pipeline review, and deal inspection rhythms, while maintaining disciplined and accurate Salesforce reporting.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to convert lead generation efforts into qualified pipeline and refine campaigns using market feedback.
  • Work closely with Customer Success to support retention, expansion, and strong customer outcomes.
  • Align management practices with other Sales leaders across regions to standardize operating approaches.
  • Build and maintain senior relationships with key customers, districts, and government stakeholders in the U.S.
  • Lead regional RFQs and strategic bids, ensuring responses are timely, compelling, and commercially sound.

Requirements

  • Significant experience leading sales teams, ideally in EdTech or education markets.
  • Proven ability to own and deliver revenue targets while building pipeline and closing deals in a hands-on capacity.
  • Demonstrated success developing and executing go-to-market strategies that drive new business growth.
  • Experience scaling sales in new or growth markets.
  • Strong commercial acumen, including deal structuring, contract negotiation, and pricing for strategic accounts.
  • Highly effective people leadership skills with experience building, coaching, and holding teams accountable to performance metrics.
  • Data-driven operator with confidence using CRM and pipeline data for forecasting and decision-making.
  • Experience using Salesforce and maintaining high-quality reporting.
  • Ability to work remotely from the U.S. with travel for in-person meetings.
  • Experience with advanced forecasting models and market trend analysis is preferred.
