Description

  • Proactively engage construction professionals through phone, email, virtual, and in-person outreach to uncover pain points and business opportunities.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from initial outreach and prospecting through product demonstrations, contract negotiations, and signed agreements.
  • Consistently achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales activity and revenue targets.
  • Develop and execute data-driven prospecting plans to build pipeline and expand the assigned territory.
  • Research accounts and identify key decision-makers to understand business needs and generate interest.
  • Deliver compelling, value-driven software demonstrations that show how Clearstory improves workflows and efficiency.
  • Build trusted relationships with stakeholders at multiple levels, including operational managers and executive leaders.
  • Maintain a seamless post-sales experience and support a consultative, customer-focused sales process.
  • Develop a deep understanding of Clearstory’s platform, competitive landscape, and construction industry trends.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support growth in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in the commercial construction industry as a Project Manager for a General Contractor.
  • Experience managing costs and change orders for mid-sized general contractors.
  • 2+ years of demonstrated success in software sales, preferably B2B (preferred).
  • Proven record of consistently exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Experience with consultative, solution-based sales methodologies.
  • Strong ability to manage, develop, and accurately forecast a sales pipeline.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for phone, email, and virtual meetings.
  • Ability to build trust and long-term relationships with prospects and customers.
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Must be located in the Western Region.
