Description

  • Own end-to-end delivery of complex, high-visibility engagements across schedules, budgets, milestones, governance, and success criteria.
  • Align cross-functional implementation, architecture, technical account, product, and engineering teams around delivery priorities and outcomes.
  • Advise senior government stakeholders, including mayors, CIOs, department directors, and agency heads.
  • Lead executive steering committees, status reviews, presentations, and challenging stakeholder discussions.
  • Anticipate delivery risks, manage crises and scope changes, and execute contingency plans with minimal escalation.
  • Design and improve delivery frameworks, quality controls, resource models, feedback loops, and continuous-improvement programs.
  • Use metrics and data-backed storytelling to connect project performance with measurable government outcomes.
  • Build playbooks, personas, and knowledge frameworks; feed customer insights into product, go-to-market, and strategic planning.
  • Mentor and develop Engagement Managers and other delivery leaders, while supporting talent recruitment and hiring.
  • Report engagement performance, risks, financial status, and strategic progress to Professional Services and executive leadership.

Requirements

  • 12+ years leading enterprise-level or government transformation engagements in SaaS, professional services, or civic technology.
  • Proven success managing complex, high-risk, multi-stakeholder programs, including recovery of dissatisfied clients or failed implementations.
  • Recognized thought leadership in delivery methodology, client engagement, or public-sector implementation.
  • Experience designing and owning organization-wide delivery frameworks and feedback loops.
  • Expert project management and Agile methodology experience applied to large-scale transformation.
  • Strong financial acumen, including budget forecasting, cost tracking, margin analysis, variance reporting, and resource allocation.
  • Strong data literacy and ability to define success metrics, establish baselines, and communicate performance to executives.
  • Expert executive communication, stakeholder management, conflict resolution, organizational change, and ambiguity management skills.
  • Public-sector or civic technology experience strongly preferred; Salesforce, GovTech, permitting, licensing, or government workflow experience is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 30–40% within the United States and Canada; occasional company travel is also required.
  • Experience with System Integrator partnerships, Prosci/ADKAR change management, or AI-assisted delivery is preferred.
  • Successful candidates must complete employment-related background checks.

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $195,000–$235,000 CAD.
  • Remote work environment with occasional in-person company or departmental meetings, typically 1–2 times per year.
