Description

  • Extend and maintain existing code repositories according to established patterns and conventions.
  • Follow Git practices for branching, commits, code reviews, and merges.
  • Communicate progress, blockers, and technical decisions clearly with a distributed team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver project outcomes.
  • Build data pipelines integrating and transforming data from sources such as BigQuery and SAP.
  • Develop and maintain ETL/ELT processes and database structures for operational and analytical workloads.
  • Build front-end interfaces, backend features, administrative tools, and scheduled jobs for internal applications.
  • Support machine learning initiatives, including computer vision and forecasting models, through data and feature preparation.

Requirements

  • Experience contributing to and extending existing code repositories in a team environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of Git and collaborative version control practices.
  • Clear and consistent communication skills in distributed-team settings.
  • Depth in at least one area: SQL and database development, front-end/application development, ETL and data pipelines, or machine learning.
  • Working familiarity with the other development areas and flexibility to support varied team-scoped tasks.
  • Experience with Google BigQuery, SAP, or similar enterprise data platforms is preferred.
  • Experience with SAP integrations is preferred.
  • Experience with SaaS applications, computer vision, time-series forecasting, cron jobs, or administrative tooling is preferred.
  • Experience in supply chain, manufacturing, logistics, or procurement is preferred.
