Description

  • Drive architectural strategy discussions with client leadership to align data platform initiatives with business objectives.
  • Act as the senior technical advisor in client engagements and translate architectural decisions into business outcomes.
  • Manage client relationships from an architectural perspective and build trust through technical excellence.
  • Lead cross-functional teams of data engineers, data scientists, and analytics specialists in designing and deploying cloud-native data platforms.
  • Provide architectural guidance, support delivery planning, and remove technical blockers throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Mentor team members on cloud architecture best practices, data modeling, and emerging technologies.
  • Design and implement AWS-based data lake architectures using Medallion (Bronze/Silver/Gold) patterns.
  • Lead modernization and migration of legacy data systems to cloud platforms while minimizing risk and preserving business continuity.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable architecture, data models, and integration patterns.
  • Design data platforms that support AI and ML workloads, including feature engineering, feature stores, model training data preparation, and inference serving.
  • Architect MLOps capabilities as part of the core platform and integrate machine learning lifecycle management.
  • Implement governance, data quality, metadata management, and security/privacy controls across distributed architectures.
  • Apply Data Mesh principles and advise on centralized versus federated governance models.
  • Use AI tools and emerging AI technologies to improve architectural work, documentation, and problem-solving.

Requirements

  • Solid experience in data architecture roles with a strong focus on cloud technologies, specifically AWS.
  • Advanced English proficiency (C1 or above) for client communication, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Demonstrated experience designing data platforms that support AI and ML workloads as first-class use cases.
  • Experience with feature engineering, feature stores, and model serving infrastructure.
  • Proven expertise in legacy system transformation and cloud migration strategies.
  • Experience with agentic AI technologies and an AI-first mindset.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for complex and ambiguous architecture challenges.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical, executive, and business audiences.
  • Experience with AWS Medallion Architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold) and data lake design patterns.
  • Background in Data Mesh principles and federated data governance models.
  • Hands-on experience with MLOps platforms and infrastructure, including model training pipelines and deployment automation (nice to have).
  • Familiarity with distributed data processing frameworks and technologies for large-scale transformation (nice to have).
  • Experience in CPG, FMCG, Retail, or similar consumer-focused industries (nice to have).
  • AWS certifications such as Solutions Architect, Data Analytics, or Machine Learning (nice to have).
