Description

  • Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for web, mobile, and desktop applications.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
  • Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using tools such as Playwright, JUnit, TestNG, and Pytest.
  • Identify, document, and track defects in a bug-tracking system.
  • Work closely with developers to reproduce and resolve issues.
  • Implement best practices in testing and quality assurance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Support quality efforts in Agile Kanban environments with a shift-left testing approach.
  • Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) issue coordination or mapping when needed.

Requirements

  • Solid experience with Playwright and TypeScript for web test automation, highly preferred over Cypress or Selenium.
  • Strong experience in API testing and automation, including validating JSON and XML formats using tools like Postman or Bruno, or through code.
  • Deep understanding of automation design patterns, especially Page Object Model (POM).
  • Hands-on experience working with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into the deployment workflow.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, specifically Kanban environments, and a strong commitment to shift-left testing.
  • Fluent English is mandatory for daily meetings, documentation, and collaboration with a global team.
  • Experience handling complex UI testing scenarios such as multi-context execution with multiple tabs or windows is preferred.
  • Experience leveraging artificial intelligence tools to optimize QA tasks and code efficiency is preferred.
  • Experience coordinating or mapping bugs during user acceptance testing (UAT) is preferred.
  • Experience with automated testing tools such as JUnit, TestNG, and Pytest is preferred.
