Description

  • Lead the architecture, design, and development of automation testing tools, frameworks, and processes across product lines.
  • Work with development, manual QA, and DevOps teams to identify automation opportunities and design software solutions.
  • Drive the software quality assurance lifecycle within an Agile process.
  • Develop and maintain automated tests to validate user experience and data quality.
  • Mentor and coach team members on automation development best practices.
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure compliance with coding standards and practices.
  • Establish and govern automation metrics such as ROI, flake rate, and coverage by risk.
  • Communicate test suite health, risks, and quality status to cross-functional teams and engineering leadership.
  • Stay current on industry trends, best practices, and standards in automation and software development.

Requirements

  • BS or MS degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Deep understanding of software architecture, data structures, and algorithms.
  • Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Python, with NodeJS experience.
  • Hands-on expertise with Playwright, including framework architecture and debugging.
  • Experience using large language models (LLMs) and AI tools to improve automation strategies and test efficiency.
  • Extensive experience with API testing, including REST and GraphQL.
  • Understanding of CI/CD and continuous automation pipelines, including GitHub Actions.
  • Familiarity with version control, defect tracking, and test management tools such as Git, JIRA, and Qase.
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Familiarity with load and stress testing frameworks and methodologies.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure and containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Bonus: data analysis skills.
  • Strong communication, presentation, organizational, motivational, and leadership skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and ability to triage and support escalations.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team player in a changing-priorities environment.
  • Strong emotional intelligence, interpersonal skills, and professional written and verbal communication.
  • Proven ability to drive SDLC efficiency through AI-integrated workflows and reduce debugging time.
  • Ability to build technical alignment across Engineering, Product, and DevOps teams.
