Description

  • Act as a key contributor to digital and cultural transformation within a major Brazilian banking institution.
  • Develop new features and enhance existing functionality in a financial project.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design, develop, and implement efficient solutions.
  • Maintain and continuously improve existing systems.
  • Integrate systems with AWS cloud services.
  • Focus on solution impact and user experience.
  • Support technical excellence through ongoing improvement of engineering practices.
  • Mentor junior developers and contribute critical thinking to team processes.

Requirements

  • Strong object-oriented programming knowledge, including classes and objects, association, encapsulation, inheritance, and polymorphism.
  • Experience developing with Python, Node, and Java, including frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate.
  • Deep knowledge of microservices architecture, design patterns, Clean Architecture, and BFF architecture.
  • Understanding and application of Feature Toggle in applications.
  • Strong software development practices aligned with SOLID, KISS, YAGNI, DRY, and DDD.
  • Experience modeling REST APIs with Spring Boot and creating gateways using AWS API Gateway.
  • Knowledge of application security, including authentication and authorization for API consumption, OWASP, and best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with unit and integration testing using JUnit4+ and Mockito.
  • Experience with AWS services such as EC2, ECS, EKS, Fargate, S3, SQS, SNS, Lambda, API Gateway, and CloudWatch.
  • Preferred experience with relational and NoSQL databases, messaging services such as Amazon SQS or Kafka, DevOps automation using Docker and/or Kubernetes, Git and GitHub, CI/CD with GitHub Actions or AWS CodePipeline, and Veracode.
  • Experience working with agile teams using Scrum and Kanban.
  • Ability to drive continuous improvement, apply critical thinking, and guide junior developers.
