Description

  • Promote CIM’s full suite of real estate, infrastructure, and credit investment products to institutional investors.
  • Articulate CIM’s investment strategies, platforms, performance, and competitive advantages to support capital raising and brand awareness.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for existing investors and maintain regular communication through meetings and calls.
  • Develop and expand relationships with prospective institutional investors and respond to due diligence requests and inquiries.
  • Research institutional investors, market trends, and competitive dynamics to identify opportunities and inform outreach.
  • Collaborate with Institutional Client Group, Portfolio Oversight, and Strategy Solutions teams on new product development and investment offering previews.
  • Represent the firm at industry conferences, panels, roadshows, and client meetings.
  • Travel frequently to meet with investors and support external business development efforts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in business, finance, economics, or a related field.
  • Series 7 and Series 63 licenses required.
  • CFA, MBA, or additional industry credentials preferred.
  • 10+ years of industry experience required.
  • 5+ years of institutional fundraising or business development experience preferred.
  • Track record of raising capital and building relationships with institutional investors and/or investment consultants.
  • Experience understanding institutional client trends, buying behavior, and investment processes.
  • Strong understanding of real estate, infrastructure, and private markets preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, and presentation skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple responsibilities, and prioritize workload.
  • High level of energy, discipline, tenacity, self-motivation, and integrity.
