Description

  • Own orders, sales growth, margin improvement, and ongoing financial performance for the Electrical Distribution business.
  • Lead cross-functional activities across sales, marketing, product development, supply chain, and finance.
  • Develop and implement strategies for existing and new products across all distribution channels.
  • Drive the innovation pipeline and oversee product additions, deletions, standardization, forecasting, pricing, and product management.
  • Provide senior management with recommendations for accelerating growth among key customers and secondary channels.
  • Monitor customer needs, market trends, and competitive conditions through collaboration with marketing, sales, account management, and intelligence teams.
  • Travel to meet sales staff, distributors, customers, and industry experts and adjust strategies based on field insights.
  • Assess the marketplace and develop relationships to identify potential acquisitions in related product lines.
  • Create career development plans, coach associates, and build internal leadership capability.
  • Conduct monthly business team meetings and align teams around objectives and results.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 12+ years of related experience with increasing responsibility and a proven record of results.
  • Previous leadership and coaching experience.
  • Strategic, analytical, conceptual, and business partnering skills.
  • Strong presentation, communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Ability to lead through influence and collaborate across multiple functional areas and organizational levels.
  • Experience bringing new products and category strategies to market through effective execution and adaptation.
  • Ability to manage ambiguity, multiple priorities, and changing timelines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Initiative, resilience, and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Approximately 45% travel required.
