Description

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within a designated portfolio of accounts.
  • Build relationships with executives and decision-makers across target organizations.
  • Understand target account needs and explain how Celonis can address strategic and operational challenges.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and qualification through proposal and deal closing.
  • Deliver tailored presentations and product demonstrations for specific use cases, working with Value Engineering as needed.
  • Partner with consulting firms, SaaS providers, and Big4 firms to support business development.
  • Collaborate closely with business development representatives, value engineers, partner managers, and marketing specialists.
  • Expand Celonis’ market presence and footprint in the State and Local Government sector for VA/MD/DC.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of success in SaaS sales, including both expansion and new business roles.
  • 5 years of experience selling into State and Local government.
  • Experience navigating complex sales cycles with multiple decision-makers.
  • Track record of selling enterprise software applications to C-level stakeholders.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of business processes and KPIs, such as Finance or Supply Chain.
  • Experience working with partners, such as consulting firms or enterprise technology providers.
  • Visa sponsorship is not offered for this role.
