Description

  • Own a federal territory by identifying, qualifying, and shaping strategic opportunities across priority agencies.
  • Develop and execute account strategies that position Axon as a trusted technology partner for federal law enforcement.
  • Lead complex solution sales by translating customer mission requirements into comprehensive Axon solutions.
  • Engage executive-level stakeholders and build durable relationships with decision-makers across federal agencies.
  • Drive the full capture lifecycle, including opportunity shaping, solution design, proposals, demonstrations, and negotiations.
  • Partner cross-functionally with product, engineering, marketing, and technical teams to support winning strategies and customer outcomes.
  • Identify emerging federal technology needs and align Axon innovations to mission-critical challenges.
  • Represent Axon at conferences, industry events, and strategic customer engagements within the federal ecosystem.
  • Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline management while working toward ambitious revenue targets.
  • Establish executive relationships, build capture strategies, and deliver measurable pipeline growth in the first 12 months.

Requirements

  • Experience selling in complex federal sales environments with long buying cycles and multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to think strategically about territory development and account planning.
  • Experience leading capture strategies and shaping opportunities early in the sales process.
  • Ability to build trusted advisor relationships with government leaders.
  • Motivation to balance mission impact with revenue outcomes.
  • Comfort operating in ambiguous environments with rapid change.
  • Deep knowledge of the federal market and the ability to navigate complex buying environments.

  • Legal eligibility to work in a firearms environment may be required for some roles.
