Description

  • Lead the strategy, health, and continuous improvement of test practices across multiple pods.
  • Identify, evaluate, and promote AI tools that improve test coverage, defect prediction, and automation.
  • Develop and deliver AI up-skilling and training sessions for testers.
  • Review, refine, and improve test tools, frameworks, and automation infrastructure as the platform evolves.
  • Design new automation frameworks and build prototypes for microservices and third-party integrations when needed.
  • Collaborate on cross-team automation projects and share reusable components.
  • Host technical alignment meetings, resolve testing and pipeline issues, and support deployments and releases.
  • Conduct automated and manual testing to stay close to product workflows and business-critical user journeys.
  • Use quality metrics and production defect analysis to evaluate test effectiveness and identify process gaps.
  • Mentor testers through peer reviews, coaching, and technical guidance while maintaining quality standards.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in software quality engineering, including 2+ years as a technical lead or senior automation engineer.
  • Proficiency in at least one modern automation framework such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, RestAssured, or Karate.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and development tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud-native architectures, microservices, and API testing including REST, GraphQL, and event-driven systems.
  • Background in mentoring, coaching, or leading test engineering teams.
  • Experience defining and executing test strategies across agile teams.
  • Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with AI-assisted testing tools or Copilot-based script generation is preferred.
  • Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP and testing distributed or multi-region systems is preferred.
  • Knowledge of observability tools such as NewRelic, Datadog, Grafana, or Splunk is preferred.
