Description

  • Build and implement automated systems for development, verification, and deployment to improve quality and performance.
  • Develop and maintain the reference environment used to verify Lattice workflows before release.
  • Create and maintain representative test environments, including hardware-in-the-loop systems, and account for performance on physical hardware.
  • Implement software interfaces and product features that enable end-to-end testing across complex systems.
  • Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines and enforce performance baselines to prevent regressions.
  • Apply reliability engineering practices to proactively identify and fix issues across the software stack.
  • Implement AI-enabled automation to surface and resolve issues early without degrading developer experience.
  • Run design reviews and drive features from ambiguous problem statements to production-ready code across multiple software teams.
  • Mentor more junior engineers and help own a major part of the software shipping process.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience building automated verification suites at scale.
  • Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipeline development using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
  • Experience applying SRE principles, automated testing frameworks, scripting for automation, and software development lifecycle knowledge.
  • Hands-on experience automating Hardware-in-the-Loop (HITL) and Software-in-the-Loop (SITL) engineering in a production release process.
  • Expertise in automated regression testing, unit testing, and integration testing.
  • Proficiency in Python for automation, scripting, and system development.
  • Professional experience with containerization workflows and Terraform.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP and containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes.
  • NixOS experience is preferred.
  • Experience working in a regulated industry or on systems requiring high reliability and traceability is preferred.
