Description

  • Create architectures, prototypes, and design proposals aligned with business needs and long-term platform strategy.
  • Influence technical direction through architecture reviews, RFCs, design discussions, and collaboration.
  • Define and execute product and platform architecture roadmaps with senior engineers and technical leads.
  • Break down large initiatives into incremental, parallelizable work and guide proposals through production.
  • Improve build systems, CI/CD pipelines, reliability, observability, monitoring, and incident response.
  • Maintain technical documentation and represent the team in cross-functional and external technical discussions.
  • Mentor developers through design reviews and AI-assisted development sessions while sharing engineering best practices.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies, frameworks, cloud capabilities, and opportunities for agentic automation.
  • Use AI-assisted development tools, validate generated output, and establish safe team practices and feedback loops.
  • Design scalable cloud services, distributed microservices, front-end architecture, accessible components, and design-system standards.

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8+ years of professional software development experience with impact beyond a single team.
  • Experience designing and operating distributed, cloud-native, SaaS or multi-tenant platforms at scale, preferably on AWS.
  • Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, design patterns, SOLID principles, and software quality practices.
  • Experience with agentic-AI software development and AI-assisted development tools.
  • Experience designing and consuming HTTP APIs such as REST or GraphQL.
  • Experience mentoring developers and influencing architecture across teams in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
  • Experience building distributed microservices with Java 25 and Spring Boot.
  • Deep expertise in Angular or an equivalent SPA framework and TypeScript, including front-end architecture and design systems.
  • Experience with accessibility and performance optimization; familiarity with AWS, Docker/Kubernetes, testing tools, serverless systems, monorepos, localization, and accounting concepts is preferred.
