Description

  • Design, build, and own end-to-end features using C# APIs, Azure Functions, Angular, and TypeScript.
  • Extend and maintain financial calculation engines and verify the correctness of numerical outputs.
  • Develop scalable frontend patterns and connect new user interfaces to backend APIs.
  • Extend and debug event-driven Azure services, including Service Bus, queue workers, Blob Storage, App Configuration, and Key Vault.
  • Model and query data in MongoDB and optimize slow database queries or calculation-heavy workflows.
  • Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests, with particular focus on calculated results.
  • Monitor Azure alerts, logs, and Application Insights traces; diagnose production defects and improve code and tests.
  • Collaborate with business analysts to refine requirements and challenge inconsistent specifications.
  • Review pull requests, promote testable design, use AI development tools, and provide second-level support for internal users.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant software development experience.
  • Strong C# and .NET skills, including the ability to work effectively in an existing codebase.
  • Experience with Angular and TypeScript; experience with React or Vue is also applicable.
  • Proficiency with HTML/CSS and utility-first frameworks such as Tailwind.
  • Experience building and consuming RESTful web services in the cloud, preferably Azure.
  • Full-stack understanding across UI, APIs, calculations, queries, and data layers.
  • Experience with relational and/or document databases, including schema design and query optimization; MongoDB experience is relevant.
  • Understanding of testing numerical outputs using tolerances, expected values, and regression checks.
  • Excellent written English and communication skills in distributed teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
