Description

  • Act as the first point of contact for potential study participants through phone, email, postal mail, and other channels.
  • Reach out to individuals from the database and respond to volunteer inquiries.
  • Educate prospective patients about the clinical research process, study purpose, potential benefits, and visit expectations.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient interactions, communications, and pre-screening activity.
  • Conduct remote pre-screening visits and assess patient fit against study criteria.
  • Schedule study visits with qualified participants and send reminders and follow-ups.
  • Collaborate with Study Teams and Clinical Research Coordinators to support study execution.
  • Review active study protocols and communicate study details accurately to potential participants.
  • Maintain organized subject pre-screening logs to track progress, enrollment, and compliance.
  • Use clinical trial databases and standard office software to manage patient data and scheduling.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least 1 year of experience in patient recruitment.
  • At least 1 year of experience in clinical research.
  • Knowledge of ICH Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines and other applicable regulatory standards.
  • Working knowledge of medical and research terminology.
  • Proficiency with clinical trials databases and Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent time management and ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities and protocols.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
