Description

  • Serve as the finance partner to GTM leadership on investment decisions, resource allocation, and strategic trade-offs.
  • Translate complex financial models and SaaS metrics into clear recommendations for senior stakeholders.
  • Support the annual operating plan, rolling forecasts, and long-range planning for GTM functions.
  • Build and maintain the topline capacity model and net new ARR forecast, including headcount, quota coverage, ramp assumptions, and pipeline inputs.
  • Partner with Operations teams to align financial models with CRM data and GTM operating rhythms.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly variance analysis with commentary for leadership and board reporting.
  • Assist with commissions calculation, reporting, modeling, and leadership compensation plans.
  • Help design, model, and stress-test new compensation plan structures with GTM leadership and HR.
  • Build and track GTM financial frameworks such as CAC, LTV, payback period, sales productivity, and revenue efficiency.
  • Develop ROI models for key GTM initiatives and support finance systems, automation, and process improvements.

Requirements

  • 5–8 years of progressive experience in GTM FP&A, strategic finance, or investment banking.
  • Direct experience supporting Sales, Marketing, or Customer Success organizations as a finance business partner.
  • Hands-on experience with commissions modeling and/or variable compensation plan design.
  • Experience in SaaS or high-growth B2B technology companies.
  • Strong financial modeling skills in Excel and/or Google Sheets with the ability to build complex, dynamic models independently.
  • Direct experience with Adaptive Insights (Workday Adaptive Planning) strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with other EPM tools such as Pigment, Anaplan, or Mosaic is a plus.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce reporting and comfort working with large datasets; SQL experience is a bonus.
  • Deep understanding of SaaS metrics including ARR, ACV, NRR, CAC, churn, LTV, pipeline velocity, and sales capacity.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to present financial analysis clearly to non-finance leaders.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment.
  • Bonus points for prior CaptivateIQ or similar incentive compensation platform experience, hyper-growth or public-market-preparation experience, and an MBA or advanced degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
