Description

  • Build and maintain data analyses and reporting for BHG’s growing loan portfolios.
  • Assist with loan inventory management and short-term cash forecasting.
  • Develop, produce, and maintain optimization models for Capital Markets and Finance.
  • Analyze financial information, identify trends and opportunities, and provide recommendations to leadership.
  • Develop analyses for strategic initiatives using Excel, SQL, Power BI, and related reporting tools.
  • Perform variance analysis against forecasts and support month-end financial statement analysis.
  • Provide loan portfolio insights to Accounting, Capital Markets, Legal, and other internal teams.
  • Identify risks, improve processes, manage data flows, and complete ad hoc analyses and projects.
  • Support finance team leadership and manage workflows involving multiple stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of progressive data analytics or finance experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a quantitative field preferred.
  • Strong quantitative skills and experience with financial modeling.
  • Background in lending, capital markets—particularly structured finance—or financial services.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and familiarity with common database systems.
  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other reporting tools preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain models, identify financial and non-financial risks, and improve processes.
  • CFA, MBA, or CPA certification in progress or completed preferred.
  • Valid U.S. work authorization without current or future employer sponsorship required.
