Description

  • Develop and maintain full-stack financial software solutions tailored to client requirements.
  • Apply financial domain knowledge to ensure solutions align with regulations and industry trends.
  • Collaborate with financial analysts, data scientists, UI/UX designers, and other cross-functional stakeholders to translate business needs into software.
  • Lead the design and architecture of financial systems with attention to scalability, reliability, security, and performance.
  • Mentor junior engineers through guidance, code reviews, and support for continuous learning.
  • Work across the full delivery lifecycle from business design through technology implementation.
  • Provide strategic guidance and solve complex technical challenges for clients and stakeholders.
  • Contribute to agile delivery in a dynamic, customer-centric environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related field.
  • At least 5 years of professional full-stack development experience, preferably in financial services or consulting.
  • 5+ years of hands-on Java experience, including Spring Framework, Spring Boot, SOAP and REST web services, JPA/Hibernate, SQL, and JUnit.
  • Strong knowledge of Java design patterns and principles, including Singleton, Factory, Observer, Dependency Injection/IoC, and Interface Segregation.
  • Experience with major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Experience deploying Java applications in cloud or container environments and designing for horizontal or vertical scalability.
  • Understanding of modern software architectures, including microservices, serverless computing, or containerization.
  • Experience applying agile delivery methodologies and working in cross-functional teams.
  • Consulting experience with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
  • German and English fluency is mandatory; French fluency is a plus.
  • Cloud platform certification, such as Azure Solutions Architect, is a plus.
