Description

  • Lead and grow strategic client relationships within the Education Market and Great Lakes Region.
  • Serve as the primary client leader on important billable project work and own overall client relationship success.
  • Develop new business opportunities with target clients and existing client partners.
  • Participate in marketing and pursuit activities to support top-line growth.
  • Guide project teams and mentor staff to strengthen performance and professional development.
  • Collaborate across offices, markets, practices, and service lines to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Support projects from early client visioning through completion.
  • Work with business and market leaders to implement business practices and financial goals.
  • Promote Living-Centered Design and represent CannonDesign with clients.
  • Build and lead diverse, inclusive teams that deliver transformational solutions.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in the Education market with a proven track record in client leadership, team leadership, and business development.
  • Prior experience in client leadership roles tied to an office, market, or region with multiple successful client relationships.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Current registration/licensure in Architecture, Interior Design, or Engineering preferred.
  • Additional certifications and/or training relevant to the role preferred.
  • Strong business acumen and demonstrated ability to create and execute strategy.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and presentation skills.
  • Exceptional client leadership and people leadership skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate sound judgment and effective risk management and mitigation.
  • Ability to inspire, motivate, and develop high-performing, accountable teams.
  • Some travel required.
