Description

  • Conduct job evaluations and partner with HR and business leaders to determine job levels and pay positioning.
  • Perform internal equity analyses and recommend actions to address pay gaps while balancing business, talent, and budget needs.
  • Lead large-scale market pricing studies using external survey data across roles and geographies.
  • Manage the annual review and update of salary structures based on market trends, internal data, and organizational strategy.
  • Complete compensation surveys, maintain participation documentation, and coordinate specialized surveys or custom market studies with vendors and consultants.
  • Support the design, execution, and governance of annual compensation cycles, including performance reviews, merit increases, and approval workflows.
  • Analyze annual compensation and incentive program outcomes to assess effectiveness, equity, and alignment with pay-for-performance principles.
  • Support the design, administration, modeling, and payout analysis of variable pay and incentive programs.
  • Monitor compliance with compensation-related legislation and partner with Legal, HR, and leadership to align programs with evolving requirements.
  • Partner with HRIS, HR Ops, Payroll, and Finance to maintain data integrity, improve processes, and support system enhancements.
  • Review and recommend updates to compensation policies, procedures, and guidelines for U.S. and international markets.
  • Develop and deliver compensation training and provide advisory support to managers and HR colleagues on compensation decisions.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree or diploma in Business, HR Management, or a related field required.
  • CCP certification, or progress toward CCP, strongly preferred.
  • 6+ years of progressive compensation experience, preferably in a mid- to large-sized complex organization with multiple locations.
  • Experience with compensation surveys, job evaluation methodologies, annual compensation cycles, and variable pay or incentive programs.
  • Strong knowledge of compensation principles, job architecture, market pricing, and pay-for-performance programs.
  • Advanced Excel and data analysis skills, with proficiency in HRIS and compensation management systems.
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
  • Ability to communicate compensation concepts clearly and influence internal clients with confidence, discretion, and sound judgment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex concepts clearly.
  • Understanding of U.S. compensation regulations and general awareness of global pay practices.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and deliver high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
  • Completion of an online skills assessment covering core compensation principles and Microsoft Excel is required after the initial phone screen.
