Description

  • Lead the firm-wide Mental/Behavioral Health Market and oversee submarket performance and growth.
  • Develop and implement the submarket business plan, including growth strategies, resource needs, and brand opportunities.
  • Drive strategic client positioning and pursue new business with premier target clients.
  • Lead high-level client relationships and billable project work to advance innovative design solutions.
  • Act as an external and internal ambassador for the submarket through speaking, writing, and other brand-building activities.
  • Work with market and regional leadership to execute bottom-line initiatives and achieve profitability goals.
  • Grow the submarket by identifying, pursuing, and nurturing target and existing clients.
  • Recruit, mentor, and coach diverse talent to build a high-performing team.
  • Support client and team leadership on select project opportunities as a subject matter expert or client leader.
  • Monitor market trends and best practices, including evidence-based and research-based design.

Requirements

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in architecture, interior design, engineering, or a relevant field.
  • Current registration/licensure in architecture, interior design, or engineering preferred.
  • Additional certifications and/or training relevant to the role preferred.
  • 15+ years of experience in the Mental/Behavioral Health Market within the A/E/C design industry, with 20 years preferred.
  • Proven track record of top-line growth, market leadership, team leadership, and business development success in the Mental/Behavioral Health Market.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Exceptional client and people leadership skills.
  • Strong business acumen and proven ability to create and execute strategy.
  • Professional acumen and maturity with the ability to communicate authentically and respectfully.
  • Ability to inspire, motivate, and develop high-performing, accountable teams.
  • Sound judgment and a strong approach to risk management and mitigation.
  • Some travel required.

  • Salary range of $180,800 to $226,000 annually.
