Description

  • Maintain and grow existing customer relationships while developing and closing net-new B2B, B2B2B, and B2B2C business.
  • Identify, source, and close revenue-generating customers with cross-border payment and USD account needs.
  • Work with fintechs, merchant settlement providers, and tech-enabled import/export operators on global payment use cases.
  • Collaborate with the Sales and Business Development team to ensure smooth handoffs and alignment on high-value opportunities.
  • Refine and scale the sales engine by incorporating feedback from prospects and internal stakeholders.
  • Track sales activity accurately in CRM and keep the pipeline current and well-documented.
  • Use data to support decisions, negotiations, and sales strategy.
  • Present solutions clearly and negotiate effectively with prospective customers.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, Legal, and Compliance on related initiatives.

Requirements

  • Must be based in, or within two hours of, Mexico City.
  • 5-10 years of Sales and/or Business Development experience in global fintech or crypto.
  • Experience selling to fintechs, international businesses, customs and FX brokers, or institutions.
  • Proven understanding of the full sales cycle.
  • Excellent Spanish and English language skills.
  • Existing relationship base with senior professionals in global trade or fintech, such as cross-border merchant settlement providers or tech-enabled export/import operators.
  • Clear understanding of the value proposition of stablecoins and blockchain for cross-border payments.
  • Low-ego, proactive cross-functional communicator who can turn complex requirements into actionable plans.
  • Experience working in globally oriented organizations and adapting sales motions to cultural standards.
  • Comfort working in ambiguous, fast-paced, resource-constrained environments.
  • Excellent follow-through and ability to close the loop on opportunities.
  • Comfort using AI automation, communication, and CRM tools such as OpenAI, Slack, Notion, Hubspot, and gSuite.
  • Deep understanding of the global fintech and crypto landscape and related regulations is a plus.
  • Portuguese proficiency is a plus.
