Description

  • Prepare journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and bank reconciliations for monthly close.
  • Manage recurring accruals, prepaid amortization, fixed asset schedules, and depreciation support.
  • Research and resolve close exceptions and support intercompany entries and reconciliations.
  • Process vendor invoices through the AP workflow and ensure accurate coding and approvals.
  • Maintain vendor master records, reconcile vendor statements, and handle payment run recommendations.
  • Process and audit employee expense reports for policy compliance and correct coding.
  • Coordinate customer invoicing with Asset Management and support accounts receivable and collections.
  • Prepare schedules and documentation for external and internal auditors.
  • Compile data extracts and account-level schedules for management, budget, and lender reporting.
  • Support sales/use and indirect tax filings and help improve accounting processes and automation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of accounting experience in public accounting or industry.
  • Solid knowledge of US GAAP, including accruals, prepaids, and fixed assets.
  • Hands-on experience with an accounting system such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks.
  • Strong Excel skills, including lookups and pivot tables.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational/time-management skills.
  • Clear written and verbal communication with internal teams, vendors, and auditors.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis; no visa sponsorship available.
  • CPA licensed or actively sitting for the exam preferred.
  • Experience in energy, renewables, infrastructure, construction, or another project-based business preferred.
  • Multi-entity or multi-currency experience, including intercompany transactions, preferred.
  • Exposure to AP automation tools or reconciliation tools such as Medius, Coupa, Bill.com, or BlackLine preferred.
  • NetSuite OneWorld experience preferred.
