Description

  • Assist with onboarding new clients by gathering required information, populating systems and order guides, and coordinating internal resources.
  • Maintain and update client order guides, product mappings, and SKU data to support accurate ordering and billing.
  • Prepare client reports, consolidate data, and summarize insights for account reviews and meetings.
  • Monitor client accounts for pricing discrepancies, missing invoices, short pays, and mapping errors, then resolve or escalate issues as needed.
  • Perform routine data tasks such as data entry, spreadsheet cleanup, file imports and exports, and basic data normalization.
  • Respond to client inquiries by email, phone, or Teams and coordinate follow-up actions with internal teams.
  • Use a CRM such as Salesforce to log activity, track requests, and update account information.
  • Support claims and exceptions by collecting documentation, entering details, and tracking resolution progress.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects to improve onboarding speed, data quality, and operational efficiency.
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities using client purchasing history and market data.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in customer service, account support, or a similar role.
  • Experience in foodservice, distribution, or produce is a plus.
  • Proficiency with Google Sheets or Excel, including data entry, filters, and basic formulas.
  • Experience with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce, or willingness to learn.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple internal stakeholders and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer-first mindset with professional phone and email etiquette.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to escalate appropriately and follow through.
  • Self-starter who can work independently and ask for guidance when needed.
  • Analytical thinking and comfort working with data and spotting discrepancies.
  • Collaborative, positive team player with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt quickly.
  • Remote work location required; anticipated travel 1-2 times per year.
