Description

  • Own quality for complex features across web, Android, and Flutter applications.
  • Define risk-based test strategies and perform exploratory, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
  • Investigate production issues across frontend, mobile, backend, infrastructure, and third-party integrations.
  • Analyze logs, network traffic, APIs, databases, monitoring signals, and source code to identify root causes.
  • Design, build, and maintain E2E and integration automation using Playwright, Maestro, Appium, or similar tools.
  • Improve automation architecture, test reliability, CI/CD quality checks, and application testability.
  • Partner with engineering and product teams during planning and technical design to identify quality risks.
  • Improve QA processes, documentation, defect reporting, release validation, incident analysis, and quality metrics.
  • Provide technical guidance to QA engineers and promote shared engineering ownership of quality.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in QA, Software Engineering in Test, or a strongly technical software quality role.
  • Significant experience testing complex web and mobile applications with interconnected services.
  • Advanced exploratory testing, risk analysis, debugging, and root-cause investigation skills.
  • Experience with logs, APIs, databases, monitoring tools, and production troubleshooting.
  • Hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks and methodologies.
  • Strong programming skills and the ability to navigate production codebases and build scripts or debugging tools.
  • Strong understanding of APIs, distributed systems, client-server architecture, service data flows, and the full STLC.
  • Experience with defect tracking systems and test management practices.
  • Understanding of security and privacy concepts, including authentication, authorization, data handling, access control, and OWASP risks.
  • Experience with technologies such as React, TypeScript, REST, Node.js, PostgreSQL, Firebase, Android, Flutter, Playwright, Maestro, Appium, Datadog, Sentry, GCP, Postman, and CI/CD; mapping, GPS, real-time, or transportation technology experience is preferred.
