Description

  • Review programmed surveys against questionnaires for accuracy and consistency.
  • Test survey logic, skips, piping, randomization, quotas, calculations, and respondent flow.
  • Conduct soft-launch checks and troubleshoot programming or fieldwork issues with researchers and vendors.
  • Scan and clean respondent-level data during fieldwork and at study close.
  • Identify poor-quality respondents, inconsistent responses, suspicious open ends, speeders, straightliners, and other data concerns.
  • Support recodes, derived variables, banners, crosstabs, weighting, and significance testing.
  • Populate PowerPoint reports with survey data, charts, and tables.
  • Perform numerical QC on bases, percentages, significance, calculations, labels, tables, and client deliverables.
  • Investigate discrepancies across raw data, tables, and reporting outputs.
  • Develop standardized processes and identify automation opportunities for quantitative research workflows.

Requirements

  • 3–6+ years of Market Research experience, preferably in an agency or research data/operations team.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong research judgment.
  • Strong analytical and writing skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a remote environment.
  • Experience with platforms such as User Interviews, Indeemo, Outset, Conveo, or Decipher/Forsta is preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in market research, psychology, sociology, business, communications, or a related field is preferred.
