Description

  • Own top-of-funnel pipeline generation through cold calling, emailing, LinkedIn outreach, and other outbound tactics.
  • Qualify inbound and outbound opportunities and partner closely with Account Executives on smooth handoffs.
  • Run targeted outbound campaigns to reach high-value school districts across the U.S.
  • Experiment with messaging, sequencing, and outreach strategies to improve conversion rates.
  • Collaborate with Sales leadership on outbound approach, territory strategy, and account prioritization.
  • Help build and improve sales systems, including CRM structure, Outreach sequences, enrichment workflows, and reporting.
  • Represent BusPlanner at conferences to support onsite prospecting and pipeline creation.
  • Work directly with Sales leadership and contribute visibility across the company.
  • Fast-track toward an Account Executive role for strong performance within 6–9 months.

Requirements

  • Experience or strong interest in outbound sales and prospecting in a high-velocity environment.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and comfort operating without an established playbook.
  • Strong communication and questioning skills to capture attention and uncover pain quickly.
  • High organization and tech-savviness, with proficiency using CRM and sales automation tools.
  • Curiosity and a habit of asking smart questions and refining approach continuously.
  • Coachability and willingness to learn quickly from feedback.
  • Resilience and the ability to handle rejection while maintaining high energy.
  • Extreme drive and grit, with a strong desire to create opportunity and win new business.
  • Availability for occasional travel.
  • Experience supporting conferences or onsite prospecting (preferred).
