Description

  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for a portfolio of high-value enterprise customers across the full post-sale lifecycle.
  • Lead onboarding and guide integration architecture for complex customer environments.
  • Drive deep adoption of Buildkite across customer engineering teams.
  • Conduct delivery reviews and executive briefings with VP Engineering and CTO-level stakeholders.
  • Identify technical risks, blockers, and expansion opportunities and surface them to the appropriate teams.
  • Partner with AEs and CSMs to provide technical credibility that supports renewals and expansion.
  • Advocate for customers internally by translating portfolio patterns into product feedback and roadmap input.
  • Build technical playbooks and onboarding frameworks to improve team processes.
  • Mentor junior TAMs and contribute to broader team capability uplift.

Requirements

  • 3+ years in a Technical Account Manager, Customer Success Architect, Solutions Architect, Solutions Engineer, or equivalent post-sale technical advisory role.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD platforms such as Buildkite, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CircleCI, or TeamCity.
  • Strong technical foundation in DevOps tooling, including Terraform, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Practical scripting ability in Bash, Ruby, Go, JavaScript, or Python.
  • Exceptional communication skills for engaging both executive stakeholders and hands-on engineering teams.
  • Commercial awareness and understanding of how technical work affects renewal health, churn risk, and expansion.
  • Ability to work effectively in ambiguous customer environments and create structure where ownership is unclear.
  • Experience mentoring junior colleagues and contributing to team-wide capability building.
  • Mobile CI/CD experience with iOS and Android pipelines, including Xcode, Fastlane, and Gradle, is preferred.
  • Experience with large-scale monorepo architectures or complex multi-team pipeline configurations is preferred.
  • Prior experience in a high-growth SaaS or developer tools company is preferred.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted development tooling and its use in engineering workflows is preferred.
